Anaïs Theyskens

I walk the path of the priestess, which means that I live in harmony with nature as an ambassador of mother earth and that I facilitate communication between people and the natural world. My work echoes the simplicity of the path of the druid and is inspired by the voice of the divine feminine. I’m active as a healer and spiritual catalyst, offering guidance and energetic support to those that wish to live their purpose fully. Through retreats and courses I pass on the spiritual knowledge and healing techniques that I gathered through the guidance of my spiritual masters and my travels to the sacred sites of this earth. I love to use writing to be vocal about the growing evolution of consciousness, create new perspectives and suggest different possibilities of living in harmony and creating a world of beauty and abundance together.

Born into an industrial and atheist environment, my upbringing and the values I was taught did not directly hint at a destiny as a healer and priestess. These circumstances could have been a hurdle but they turned out to be an asset, as my own journey of self-liberation and self-discovery allowed me to understand and connect to people that were struggling to find their calling or to break free from the limitations they or others set upon themselves. I learned that we are not defined by the environment we are part of, nor by the education we receive and that our true calling can only be found when we reach within. As my upbringing was void of any spiritual thought, the only available resource to have access to this was myself. Reaching inward I connected to a deep and ancient source of wisdom expanding beyond the confines of the system I was brought up in. Slowly, I started stripping away the beliefs that had been laid upon me and that were holding me back from becoming who I truly was. This process took place on the inside, as well as on the outside, for after having received years of initiations and teachings from my spiritual guides, I felt I was being asked to let go of all of my securities and step into the unknown. Figuratively and literally because I gave away the majority of my possessions, sold some and started travelling without a plan or a destination.I feel this is the main gift I have to offer to others, the gift to embrace life unconditionally and forge complete and absolute faith in yourself and in the divine spark you carry. For me, many gifts welled up from this inner source of wisdom and this is what I share with others now through my healing work and the workshops and courses I teach.

It is amazing what you discover about yourself and your talents when you stop swimming against the flow and surrender to the natural flow of life. For me this journey reconnected me to the true essence of the divine feminine, which was my way into spirituality. This evolved into the work I do now, helping women experience a positive femininity by organizing regular women’s retreats and circles to connect women together and help them gain back their feminine power. Healing is another part of my path and I noticed that the more I let go of old patterns and allowed new energy to flow in, the stronger my healing energy became and the more I was able to tap into ancient memories as a healer and revive this energy to be of service to people in this day and age.

I share my path with my husband Jean-Baptiste. Together, we travelled to many sacred sites in the world and on each of these sites we received part of the teachings we now share. We now take groups to these sites to experience this deep connection to the elements and to ancient memories embedded in the many layers of this earth.

Since our union was celebrated with a druid wedding ceremony we are very much inspired by the Celtic spiritual traditions and we now teach courses that incorporate druidry and Celtic spirituality as a way to reconnect to the natural world and reconnect to the roots of European indigenous cultures. I have been organizing rituals and guided meditations on the main Celtic holidays for several years now, as I find they are a perfect tool to synchronize our rhythm to the breath of life. A part from the work as a teacher and healer, I have another passion: writing! I love to write about topics I feel passionate about and share the muses’ inspirations with others.

My contribution to the college

I will serve the college by putting my focus on developing the path of the priestess by awakening sacred feminine energy in women and with my partner Jean-Baptiste I will initiate people in the ancient Celtic and Druid traditions as a way to rebuild a healthy and prosperous relationship with the earth and a way to ground our spiritual practice. Alongside the other founders of the college I will organise training courses in healing techniques and facilitate retreats that have the objective to support and propel your spiritual growth. Apart from that I am really looking forward to playing an active role in the creation of conscious community projects.
